Dune Guide USA Network

Privacy, explained plainly.

This guide uses basic analytics to understand which pages help people and which do not. It does not sell personal information and it does not build an advertising profile of you.

What is measured

Page visits, the site that referred you, general device and browser information, and voluntary interactions such as using the share button. It is looked at in aggregate, to answer questions like whether the passes page is doing its job.

What is not

Your identity, your location beyond the coarse level analytics reports by default, and anything you did not choose to send. Personal trip-planning information is never sold, and there is nothing to sell because it is not collected.

Partner links

Outbound links to advertisers may carry source and campaign tags so a business can see that a visit came from here. That tag says where you came from, not who you are.

Contact

If you email, that message is used to answer you. It does not go on a mailing list.

Your controls

Browser privacy settings, tracking protection, and ad blockers all limit what analytics can store, and this site works normally with all of them turned on.
